Cornucopia

Text:
I can still smell the carpets
of bygone music stores
where, as a teen, I would linger
to listen & read liner notes
& spend all of my coins.
I am not being nostagic
for dead chain stores
but for places we could go
to discover things of wonder —
I will go to war for our libraries.
